Our Kitchen Spray Painted Process
- All kitchen cabinet doors, drawers and plinths are removed carefully and taken back to our workshop to be cleaned, repaired, and sanded then sprayed with an industrial primer on all surfaces and edges and then left to cure. This is followed by fine sanding, smoothing the surfaces then vacuumed and wiped off with a tack cloth and finished off with spraying two top coats of industrial pigmented lacquer mixed to any colour of your choice. Then all items are left to dry and cure. The full workshop process can take anything from three to six days depending on the amount of items, repairs and extra work needed.
- We arrive onsite at your home, then start laying down floor protection to all areas where the work is being carried out and masking all cabinet openings, work surfaces, splash backs and other sensitive areas where we will be spraying. Once all masked, we clean, repair, sand then spray our industrial primer on all prepared surfaces then leave to dry for one and half hours. Then we sand smooth the prime surfaces and vacuum the dust off all surrounding surfaces and area and wipe down with a tack cloth. We then spray finish all surfaces with two coats of industrial pigmented lacquer matching the same colour as your doors, drawers and plinths and we leave it to dry for two hours while we remove all equipment and masking protection. This onsite process can take anything from two to four days depending on the size of the kitchen, repairs and extra work needed.
- The following day we return with all the doors, drawers and plinths and we install back in place and refit existing or new handles or knobs if needed. We then walk around with the client to make sure everything is fitted correctly and our client is 100% satisfied with all the work we have carried. This process can take anything from two to six hours depending on the amount of items to be refitted.
